Women & Light:

For my senior project, I wanted to embrace and explore the different aesthetics and art styles I admired from various musicians, photographers, and movie producers. I combined the aesthetics of American nostalgia and noir. I naturally incorporated the aesthetics by dividing the shooting between night and day. I wanted to capture the different types of beauty of not just various environments, but also of women. I utilized color grading and editing to unify the photos and create an eye-catching color pallet that still felt cohesive. This project showcases the personal style I have developed through three years of photography and my enjoyment of environmental portraits and capturing the beauty I see in my models.
